Southbank Centre Shop - Hayward Gallery

Southbank Centre is particularly pleased to announce the second of their ‘This Is Not A Pop-Up’ concessions at the Hayward Gallery shop.

From 10 – 29 January 2012 NoBrow, an independent publishing /design organisation, will be taking over the space, bringing with them their tactile illustrated books, collectible art objects and limited-edition prints.

In addition to featuring the entire range of their sought-after publications and limited-edition prints, NoBrow will also be selling collectible, high quality, UK manufactured leather range featuring top NoBrow designs on ipad, iphone and Oyster card holders.

There will be the lau Page image nch of Big Mother #2, a large A3 format artist’s monograph publication with Belgian artist and illustrator Sam Vanallemeersch who will be attending This Is Not A Pop-up on 14 January in the shop from 2.30-4.30pm. This will be an excellent chance to get a signed copy of the book and meet the artist.

There will be events including a live drawing event, from the 10 January until 14 January, with the phenomenal talents of McBess exciting new artist Ugo Gattoni. This Gallic duo have been making amazing collaborative drawings on a huge scale recently including a 10-metre long drawing which took over two months to complete, a facsimile of which will make its first appearance in the UK at the launch party on 12 January.

There will also be two family friendly Monster Puppet workshop aimed at kids (ages 7 and up) on 21 January. This event will be headed up by young illustrator and NoBrow artist Liam Barrett. You can book tickets here.
