Taking its name from the original iconic structure of the 1951 Festival of Britain, Skylon has been designed to echo the style of the refurbished Royal Festival Hall with contemporary touches added, such as uniquely designed chandeliers and surfaces of bronze, walnut and slate.

Skylon restaurant’s menu reflects Modern European styles with British influences. Signature dishes include confit organic salmon with guacamole, vegetables a la greque and shellfish mousseline; poached Anjou pigeon, with morteau sausage en croute, baby onions and mustard sauce.

Executive Chef Helena Puolakka launched her debut six course tasting menu, which can be enjoyed in Skylon Restaurant at lunch and dinner for £59.

For a less formal dining experience the Grill serves light meals including: braised octopus and chorizo with spicy potato, baby gem and lemon dressing; wild mushroom linguine with poached egg, brioche crumbs, pea shoots and mushroom veloute and Skylon burger, onion rings, chips and bloody mary ketchup.

Our cocktails are amongst the most innovative and imaginative in London. Experience Skylon’s signature cocktail: fresh grapes and ginger muddled, shaken with Ciroc vodka, Manzana verde, fresh lime and apple juice and served in a chilled martini glass.

If a light meal is all you’re looking for then our delicately mastered tapas plates are ideal, ranging from easy, fun food such as salmon rilette with pickled cucumber and pumpernickel bread to the tasting platter with prawns, duck rolls, chorizos, vegetable rolls, crudites and dips.

Step-free access to Skylon is available from the Royal Festival Hall Foyer. The Foyer will close at 11pm, when guests should leave via Skylon's private entrance. If you require step-free exit after 11pm, please advise your waiter.
