Like the original Spitalfields location, Canteen at Southbank Centre serves high quality British food at reasonable prices and continues to give customers ultimate flexibility with an all-day menu offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and bar snacks. Canteen work directly with some of the UK’s best food producers.All their meat is ethically sourced, their fish supplied from day boats on the south coast and everything is made fresh in the Canteen kitchens, including all their jams, chutneys, cakes and ice-cream.
The informal restaurant seats 260 diners, and celebrates great British design with an environment that is welcoming and elegant, offering booth seating, communal tables (perfect for larger groups) and covered and heated outdoor seating.
Great British Bar
Canteen's drinks list celebrates British ingredients and flavours offering seasonal cocktails and a beer list championing the best of British beers. Twenty of the UK’s finest bottled beers, stouts, ales, ciders and perries can be ordered, with selected beers available on tap along with hand-pumped seasonal ales and ciders sourced from microbreweries.
