Royal Festival Hall stands at the heart of Southbank Centre complex. Opened in 1951 as part of the Festival of Britain, the Hall is one of the world’s leading performance venues. As well as the auditorium, the building consists of The Clore Ballroom, Southbank Centre Shop, several places to eat and drink, and the Saison Poetry Library.

Visiting us

Royal Festival Hall is open daily from 10am-11pm. Entry to Southbank Centre and to all our buildings is free, and you are welcome to come into our Foyer spaces and enjoy the atmosphere with or without a ticket.

Eating and Drinking

There are several places to eat and drink in and around Royal Festival Hall.

There are also bars on Levels 4 and 5 of the building and the new, exclusive Members Bar, located on Level 6 with panoramic views over the river, is now open for Southbank Centre Full Members.

Wifi

Free wireless internet - or WiFi -  is available in Level 2 in Royal Festival Hall. Please note, Southbank Centre reserves the right to withdraw this service at any time.
