Audience Campaign

We were overwhelmed by the loyalty, generosity and enthusiasm of our audience members for the Transformation of the Royal Festival Hall. Over 18,000 individuals donated £3 million helping fund many improvements, such as:

• Greater audience comfort with refurbished seating, extra leg room, new air conditioning, more toilets and new catering and retail facilities
• A world-class acoustic with a new stage layout, over-stage sound reflectors and sound reflective materials throughout the Auditorium
• Improved performers’ facilities with renovated dressing rooms, contained shower facilities, and improved rehearsal spaces
• A dedicated Learning and Participation Centre called Spirit Level including the Gamelan Room, Performance Space, and a Technology Suite which will welcome more than 100,000 children and adults every year
• Easy and safe access for everyone 

We still need your support to maintain the Royal Festival Hall, provide a world-class artistic programme and to develop our learning and participation programme.
