New Composers New Music

Over the last four years the Sound and Music Summer School has given over 150 young composers and creative musicians the opportunity to learn and develop.

They are a diverse group of people who represent the most creative young compositional talent in the country.

Inspired by the New Music 20x12 weekend, this special Friday Lunch concert will feature ten new works by Summer School participants, premiered by an ensemble of professional musicians who have also attended or lectured on the course.

The performance will be a fantastic representation of their work - from jazz to the downright experimental, from modern composition and world music to music for film.
