Zambian-Scottish singer and songwriter Namvula creates a world of southern African-inspired melodies and rhythms fused with jazzy undertones, with songs that lilt enchantingly between Zambia and Mozambique, at times touching on the shores of Brazil.

She has collaborated and shared the stage with leading artists on the 'world music' circuit both in the UK and Zambia, including award-winning Zambian vocalist Maureen Lilanda and, most recently, the legendary South African trumpeter Hugh Masekela.

For this performance she is joined by guitarist Phil Dawson (Naijacentric with Tony Allen and Damon Albarn), and bassist Liran Donin (Mercury-nominated Led Bib).
