This stellar international collaboration returns to London around the release of their debut album 'Banned in London', recorded at a sold-out London Jazz Festival Pizza Express show last year.

Since their formative years at Berklee College of Music, leaders pianist Aruan Ortiz and double bassist Michael Janisch have maintained close musical ties. For this new quintet, they've assembled one of the most exciting casts of recent years, calling on one of jazz's prominent and pioneering artists, saxophonist and special guest Greg Osby plus first-call NYC resident drummer Rudy Royston and award-winning Spanish trumpeter Raynald Colom.

They perform critically acclaimed original music alongside reinterpretations from the jazz lexicon, using either template as a means for passionate sonic exploration.
