Mara Carlyle with Jon Snow

First recognised by Matthew Herbert, Mara Carlyle sings and writes beautifully crafted songs and she recently released 'Floreat', an album which Uncut hailed 'a unique and unequivocal triumph'.

For this special concert, she is joined by Channel 4 Broadcaster Jon Snow. His enthusiasm for her music has evolved into a fascinating new musical collaboration.

The first half also brings together Scottish pianist Brian Kellock and Hungarian violinist Robert Farkas, who have forged a telepathic partnership that transcends cultures. They draw inspiration from the classical tradition and the rich heritage of gypsy culture.
