The TS Eliot Prize Readings are the perfect way to kick-off a great year of poetry at Southbank Centre. Eiléan Ni Chuilleanáin, Fred D'Aguiar, Jane Draycott, Philip Gross, Sinéad Morrissey, Alice Oswald, Christopher Reid, Jo Shapcott, George Szirtes and Hugo Williams are this year's shortlisted poets, who read from their work on the eve of the prize announcement.
A showcase of the finest poetry of the past year, from both new and established
poets, the readings reveal the richness and diversity of today's poetic culture.
Unfortunately due to illness, Sharon Olds will no longer be able to take part in this event. Jo Shapcott will be reading on her behalf.
