Fresh from unveiling his Olympic cauldron this summer, Thomas Heatherwick, Britain's most innovative designer, talks about the studio he created in 1994 to make extraordinary projects happen.

His first book, 'Making', examines 140 Heatherwick projects and offers a highly personal, in-depth and behind-the-scenes look at the man Sir Terence Conran describes as 'a Leonardo da Vinci of our times'.

The event is chaired by writer and journalist Bryan Appleyard.
