On the eve of the judges' decision, hear the poets shortlisted for the 2012 TS Eliot Prize read from their works in what has become one of the most loved events of the literary calendar.

Expect an electric atmosphere at this performance, which is a unique opportunity to hear the best contemporary poets reading their own work.

The shortlisted poets are Simon Armitage (for 'The Death of King Arthur'), Sean Borodale ('Bee Journal'), Gillian Clarke ('Ice'), Julia Copus ('The World's Two Smallest Humans'), Paul Farley ('The Dark Film'), Kathleen Jamie ('The Overhaul'), Sharon Olds ('Stag's Leap'), Jacob Polley ('The Havocs'), Deryn Rees-Jones ('Burying the Wren') and Jorie Graham ('Place').

Jorie Graham is very disappointed that she is not well enough to travel to London for this event. Her publisher Michael Schmidt has kindly agreed to read in her place.
