We focus on classic 20th century novels this season to tie in with our Modernism events, and at this book club we discuss Samuel Beckett's novel 'Molloy', which was originally published in French and was translated into English in 1955.
Focused on the central character of Molloy, a typical Beckett figure who is old, ill and a social misfit, the novel demonstrates the author's restless intent to test the power of words.
Please read the book in advance of the event and bring a copy with you on the evening.
