Six world poets from six continents read with Jo Shapcott and Poetry Parnassus curator, Simon Armitage.

Wole Soyinka (Nigeria), Kay Ryan (USA), Seamus Heaney (Ireland), Kim Hyesoon (South Korea), Claribel Algeria (Nicaragua) and Bill Manhire (New Zealand) all take to the stage for an evening which includes two Poet Laureates, two Nobel Laureates and a Gold Medallist.

The readings are in English, Korean and Spanish.

Kim Hyesoon's participation in Poetry Parnassus is supported by the Korean Cultural Centre UK (KCCUK) and the Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS) with the kind support of the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST).
