Art For All in Unexpected Places

Bobby Baker and Mark Storer discuss their joint passion for meeting people and sharing in their experiences and expertise. They consider key factors in their quest to create extraordinary work in unexpected contexts with and for diverse communities across the UK.

Both artists are presenting work at Southbank Centre as part of Unlimited. Storor has created 'The Impending Storm', an explosive and emotional look at the stories we tell, and the stories that we are, in collaboration with renowned dancer David Toole and a team of non-disabled and disabled UK and South African artists. Baker developed her current show, 'Mad Gyms and Kitchens', out of her experience of illness and hard-won recovery.
