Around the World

For our afternoon trip around the world, we have another incredible line-up of international poets.

Internationally acclaimed Kenyan-born poet, playwright and activist Shailja Patel, Zambian-born, London-based poet Kayo Chingonyi - champion of young people's poetry - and Swedish slam champion, Laura Wihlborg come together on stage with UK poets for an afternoon of linguistic acrobatics.

Compered by poet Jacob Sam-La Rose, Artistic Director of Shake the Dust, a national celebration of young people's voices and the power of spoken word.

This is a schools event and is aimed at Key Stage 3 and 4. There is a translator with non-English speaking poets.

Tickets cost £3, but there is a 20% discount for groups of 10 or more. For group bookings please call 0844 875 0070 any day from Monday to Friday, between 9.30am - 5.30pm.
