Marina Abramovic: The Lecture for Women Only

Ex-Yugoslavian performance artist Marina Abramovic's 40-year career includes a recent retrospective at MoMA, The Artist Is Present, in which she performed for 736 hours.

Abramovic is currently developing the Institute for Long Durational Performing Arts in Hudson NY where she will teach the Abramovic Method.

Marina Abramovic has designed her latest performance artwork work, The Lecture for Women Only, to incorporate an exclusively female audience as an embodiment of the ideas that inform Antony's Meltdown. Accordingly, men are not being admitted to the auditorium. Any male ticket-holders will be fully refunded.
