Jeppe Hein: Appearing Rooms

The work of Danish artist Jeppe Hein (born 1974) often combines sculpture with architecture and technology to playfully solicit the viewer's direct participation. Hein's aquatic sculpture Appearing Rooms was originally commissioned for the garden of the Villa Manin, Italy.

Appearing Rooms was first installed at Southbank Centre from 8 June - 16 September 2007 and returned from Tuesday 1 July - Sunday 28 September 2008.
