Regular Music II were early instigators of the UK post-systems movement whose work straddles the spheres of rock, minimalism and post-punk.

Kaffe Matthews has been making and performing new music via all kinds of digital gadgetry all over the world for the past 15 years.

Endings is a unique collaboration bringing together Regular Music's vibrantly theatrical live sound with the noisy rhythms and abstract cyber landscapes of Kaffe Matthews' music in which the ends of key Modernist works of literature are set to music - including James Joyce's Ulysses, Jack Kerouac's On the Road and Don DeLillo's White Noise

DuoDorT: Quantulum

Formed in 2003 by pianists Kate Halsall and Semra Kurutaç, duoDorT specialise in contemporary music combining the piano duo, keyboard and electronics.

They have performed and commissioned music from a wide range of leading composers of today.

Their intriguing new project, Quantulum, features commissions from six young female composers - Kerry Andrew, Christine Abdelnour, Ailís Ní Ríain, Helena Gough, Yuko Ohara and Elo Masing. It is supported by Arts Council England and PRS for Music Foundation.

The name duoDorT is a fusion of the pair's combined British and Turkish roots. Duo, meaning a partnership of two players and dort (or dört in Turkish) translating as the number four - two pianists, four hands.

Their first EP 'Triple Point' has just been released on the Squeaky Kate label.

One Pig by Matthew Herbert

British electronic musician Matthew Herbert presents his most recent project One Pig, the story of a single farm animal from birth to death and beyond. Matthew and his band will retell One Pig's story in a show complete with live audio-visual composition and on-stage cookery.

Herbert was present, microphone in hand, as the animal emerged into the world and continued to document its life in audio as it grew to adulthood. Although he was prevented from recording the pig's death, he recorded its subsequent butchery, cooking, consumption and the use of almost every part of the animal to make diverse products, from candles, a drum, paint and dye to a new musical instrument which plays the animal's blood.

The result is an elegy to an otherwise anonymous farm animal's life. It's a beautiful and compelling account that prompts questions and gives insight into an animal so commonly underestimated, under-appreciated and unacknowledged in our society.
