The Ugly Spirit

What's it like to be always together, always one of a pair, always sharing the praise and the blame and never, ever to have a birthday cake that's just for you?

Fittings' new show cunningly fuses impro and text to invite the audience to take a peek into the backstage world of the famous Siamese Sisters Jessie and Bessie.

This is a unique promenade performance taking place in the secret spaces of the Queen Elizabeth Hall. All ticketholders meet at the Queen Elizabeth Hall artists' entrance at the start of the performance.

Written by Russell Barr, featuring David Hoyle and directed by Garry Robson. The Ugly Spirit is an Unlimited Commission for the Cultural Olympiad.

Recommended for ages 14 and over.

All performances are BSL interpreted. The performance on Sunday 2 September at 7pm is Audio Described and there is a pre-show touch tour starting at 6pm - please meet at the Queen Elizabeth Hall artists' entrance at 6pm.
