Rafael Bonachela introduces a reinvented Sydney Dance Company to London, three years after his appointment as Artistic Director. During this limited season at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Sydney Dance Company's exceptional dancers perform two of Bonachela's most recent and acclaimed works. 6 Breaths is inspired by the act of breathing, while LANDforms is a stirring exploration of the effects of weather elements upon the landscape and humanity.
'There are sections of intensity and beauty that will stamp themselves on your mind.' (Sydney Morning Herald on 6 Breaths)
'The fluidity of his choreography is superb and, against a score by Ezio Bosso and highlighted by video art by Tim Richardson, his cast revel in the movements and interpret them with grace.' (Sydney's Daily Telegraph on 6 Breaths)
'Sydney Dance Company is at the peak of its powers.' (Sydney's Sun-Herald on LANDforms)
'Bonachela's LANDforms is warmth, connection and feeling.' (The Australian)
