Igor Stravinsky: The Rite of Spring

Digital artist Klaus Obermaier and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra create a 21st-century realisation of Stravinsky's masterpiece The Rite of Spring with dancer Julia Mach performing on stage. The audience experiences incredible special effects by wearing 3D glasses in an unmissable night of stunning sound and visuals.

There is a performance of Rites at 7pm and at 9pm. Each performance lasts approximately 45 minutes and there is no interval.

'Benchmark-setting re-creation of The Rite of Spring... so realistic is the effect of the magic glasses that the stage seems to stretch out right from the screen to a point inches from our nose' (London Evening Standard)

'Truly dazzling... a world where the real and virtual intermingle.' (The Times)
