Sounds From A Room: Josh T Pearson

The Texan singer-songwriter, known for his simple but beautifully compelling melodies, is the 11th guest in Artangel's Sounds from a Room programme.

Back in the late '90s with his band Lift to Experience, Pearson became a regular feature on the John Peel Show, recording three sessions in five months. They were included in the Best Peel Sessions of all time. 2011's debut solo offering 'Last Of The Country' was an album of the year.

Pearson's performance in the Room promises to be an intense explosion of blues, rock and heartache in this intimate space. Watch a live relay of his performance in the Room from The Clore Ballroom in Royal Festival Hall.
