Part of Members Whisky Club

Wednesday 10 October 2012

The world map of whisky is well and truly alive, with some of the very best bottlings now produced in Japan and the USA.

Whisky experts Joel Harrison and Neil Ridley present a history of world whisky making, focusing on the characterful delights of several award-winning Japanese whiskies as well as new and old whiskies from the rich heritage of American distillation.

Members experience the classic Japanese whisky serving of the Mizuwari, hear about the importance of ice sculpture within Japanese whisky bar culture and also sample some of the most creative and difficult-to-find whiskies from America's rich craft distillation movement.

Tasting includes five great whiskies and internationally-themed snacks.
