Felix Mendelssohn: Elijah

Celebrated London choir Goldsmiths Choral Union celebrates its 80th birthday in style with a performance of Mendelssohn's well-loved oratorio Elijah.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performs under Goldsmiths Choral Union's longstanding Music Director, Brian Wright.

Please note that the soprano soloist Joan Rodgers is no longer able to perform at this concert, and Jane Irwin will now be singing this role. Jane has toured Europe and America and sung at the BBC Proms, and we are delighted to welcome her to Southbank Centre.

Acclaimed baritone Roderick Williams stars in the role of Elijah.
