Choir of the Year 2012

Join the six finalists in the UK's national choral competition as they battle it out to take the overall title Choir of the Year 2012.

At the start of the year 138 groups took part in auditions across the UK and now the remaining six have their last chance to impress a panel of expert judges and become the overall winner.

Featuring special guests the Swingle Singers, the Choir of the Year Grand Final is a spectacular conclusion to the biggest and most prestigious singing contest of its kind. The event will be broadcast on BBC TV in November.

Choir of the Year is offering a FREE vocal workshop between 1pm and 2.30pm on Sunday 28 October 2012 in the Clore Ballroom - all are welcome.

The workshop is run by Paul Davies and Stuart Lines from the British Association of Barbershop Singers and is flexible and informal in nature. There is also a guest appearance from Choir of the Year 2012 presenter and adjudicator Greg Beardsell, who will lead everyone in a song or two!
