Chamber music by exciting young artists. French soprano Anne-Sophie Duprels and Andrew Matthews-Owen perform Debussy's pivotal Baudelaire settings, and a selection of cabaret songs written especially for the event by four contemporary composers. The Brodowski Quartet, one of the UK's most exciting young quartets, performs Shostakovich and Piazolla, and is joined by Andrew Matthews-Owen for the world premiere of Laurence Crane's latest chamber work.

Purcell Room at Queen Elizabeth Hall at 6.30pm - Broadcaster and BBC Proms presenter Katie Derham in conversation with some of the composers featured in tonight's concert. Free.
