Bernice Hill

This is one of my first memories as a six year old. I travelled from Kent by train with my parents and was very much aware of the remains of bombed houses as we approach the centre of London.

I have vivid memories of the exhibits in the Dome of Discovery and the Heath Robinson working models. But the Skylon was the icon of the festival and I was there!
