The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment's trademark diversity is in full evidence in its 2010/11 season. Whether your passion is Wagner on period instruments, discovering the music of JS Bach’s son CPE Bach or enjoying a musical tour of Baroque Italy, the season contains something for every musical taste, all played with the Orchestra’s trademark vitality and verve. Running alongside early evening concerts, The Night Shift is also back, presenting classical music in a contemporary, late-night atmosphere, and there’s also a full programme of events designed to let you get closer to the music through pre-concert talks, post-show Q&As, a study day and Insight Clubs.

The Night Shift, London's unique classical night, took place at the atmospheric Wilton's Music Hall for the very first time in August 2010. The concert featured the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment playing music by Purcell and Handel, with support from Nathan 'Flutebox' Lee. The Night Shift takes place four to five times a year - for full information visit oae.co.uk/thenightshift.
