London Sinfonietta is one of the world’s leading contemporary music ensembles, committed to placing new music at the heart of contemporary culture.

The London Sinfonietta’s Music Programme 2012/13 at Southbank Centre includes the world premiere of a new commission by Steve Reich inspired by the music of Radiohead, the introduction of London Sinfonietta’s new Landmarks concert series which aims to put pieces, composers and musical movements of the past century into context, and the return of the New Music Show, in an expanded festival-in-a-day format.

Also featuring are two concerts presented as part of Southbank Centre’s The Rest is Noise series, based on Alex Ross’ book of the same name, a collaboration with Warp label artist Tyondai Braxton, and the world premiere performance of a new work by Luke Bedford.
